We recently worked with a buyer that was having trouble getting a contract accepted on a condo in the Falls Church, VA (Washington DC Metro) area. After some advice from myself and my buyers agent, Lauren Heisey, the client saw her contract accepted by a seller and is now headed to closing on her new home. In an effort to be competitive, we suggested the buyer make her offer w/o including the appraisal contingency. It worked. Here is the recent comment by one of our buyers – thanks so much!
Hi Jennifer,
Thanks so much for your advice!! Lauren just told me that the seller agreed to $***K without (an appraisal contingency). We really appreciate all your help — your reading of the market is impeccable!
Thank you and Lauren again for your help! As always, she is first rate!
Have a great weekend! J&M
