Nationals vs. Cubs Series

Location: Nationals Park, Washington, DC

Baseball fans can catch the Washington Nationals as they host the Chicago Cubs for a thrilling three-game series over Labor Day weekend. The action kicks off on Friday night and continues through Sunday afternoon. Highlights include a special performance by EDM sensation Two Friends after the game on Saturday, and on Sunday, the first 20,000 fans will receive a CJ Abrams Streetwear Bobblehead. Corn Maze & Apple Harvest

Date: August 31 – September 30

Location: Great Country Farms, Bluemont, VA

If you’re eager for the arrival of fall, head to Great Country Farms this Labor Day weekend to kick off the annual corn maze festivities! Enjoy a variety of activities including apple picking, pig races, marshmallow roasting, and cow train rides. Advance ticket purchases are highly recommended to ensure your spot.

50th Virginia Scottish Games

Location: The Plains, VA 

Join the celebration of Scottish heritage at the 50th Virginia Scottish Games, featuring Olympic-style sports, traditional foods like haggis, and the sounds of bagpipes. The event takes place at 5089 Old Tavern Rd., The Plains, with day passes available for $20, a two-day pass for $30, and a meet-and-greet option for $40. Children under 5 can attend for free.
